As most of you know we collected £600 towards the motorbike carving for John. This will be situated in the wildfowl itself in the childrens play area. We now have dates for this to happen. It would have been Johns birthday on the 9th October so in memory to him the finished motorbike will be put into its final place on that day. The chainsaw man who is doing the carving will start it on the daytime of the 7th, work on it the following day then finish it on the evening of the 9th. The wildfowl have said they will open late so as many of you who wish to see this taking place can do. We will be taking the burger van down from around 4 - 4.30 onwards whatever the weather and Johns family will arrive shortly afterwards. THIS IS ON A FRIDAY. The wildfowl have also said that anyone who can`t make it on that day are welcome to go and see it at any time. Just go to reception and tell them you are one of us and they will let you in to see it. The wildfowl have also asked for volunteers to help lift the finished motorbike into its final place. I`m sure we won`t be short of any. So I look forward to seeing you all there.

Thanks to all who contributed to the motorbike memorial for John I think you`ll agree it is a great and fitting tribute. Once again if anyone hasn`t yet seen it you can go into the wildfowl and explain you have come to see Johns memorial and that you are one of the bikers and they will let you in free of charge.
PS We forgive you mick we all know about messy plumbers can I tar electricians with the same brush?
