Johns Funeral Arrangements

John’s family are looking for volunteer riders to give John his dream send off and a final ride out with the Wildfowl/Wetlands Bikers. This would be to lead John from the church the the crematorium.
Service to be held on

MONDAY 8th JUNE at St. Georges Anglican Church
East Boldon.
12.45pm

Committal at South Shields Crematorium
2.30pm
Family flowers only, there will be a donations box at the crematorium for charity.

Celebration of Johns Life at Sleepers, East Boldon After.

Everyone welcome to join all of the above. Let’s give John the send off he deserves

As soon as we have full details of the meeting place we will post it here, I was told last night we were all meeting at 12

we will be there to on bikes
will meet up either at the wetlands or church (remember other familys may be there for there own so please respect them , parking etc)

what about bikes meeting up at the wetlands for 11.45 to 12.15 its not to far a ride to the church (any updates will be posted) thanks (hope this hasnt gone in 3 times keep getting logged out)

Would love to have done this but can't get the time off work! ... Hope John gets a good turn out and a decent send off ... He will be missed!

Route for Johns Ride out

From St, Georges, turn left (or right if leaving from the Grey Horse Car park) along Front Street,
East Boldon to the traffic lights at Boker Lane, turn right.
At the traffic lights at the bottom of Boker Lane, turn right onto New Road.
At the mini roundabout, turn left onto Boldon Lane which runs into Benton Road.
At T-Junction turn right onto Galsworthy Road.
At roundabout, turn left onto Whiteleas Way.
At next Roundabout turn left onto John Reid Road to crematorium which is on the left. 2.30pm

We have permission for bikes to use Grey Horse Car Park for the duration of the service.
Those not attending the Crematorium can head straight to Sleepers and we will see you there.
